Sorry for the lack of updates on my blog. Part 1 of the surgery went well. Grids are placed and she is being monitored. She has woke up a few times and seems to be doing well. Very thirsty but no pain.
She lost a lot of blood and looks really pale. They gave her some blood while in the OR and they are about to give her some more.
She had a big cluster of seizures around 10:20pm, so they will have plenty of data to review tomorrow.
Brandon is taking the night shift and I am getting ready to head back to the hotel.

Glad to hear it is "so far so good." Thinking of you all and hoping that you all (or is that all of you?) have a peaceful night. Brandon, I hope the machines are not going off regularly. I remember...CB
Thinking of you all....
That was me above ... one of my girls was signed into gmail. Gotta love that.
Anyway, have been keeping up via FB all day. I have no doubt that Sophie will continue to do her thing beautifully and the rest of you will follow her courageous lead and do the same. Prayers and all good things flowing here in California and will anxiously be awaiting more news. Until then, rest when you are able and feel the love of this community that surrounds you.
I am so happy to hear that she is doing good!! Continued prayers coming your way. Thank you for keeping us updated. I know you have to be so exhausted. Get some rest!!
Kerri :)
