Yummies...

I left a bowl of chicken and rice soup on the kitchen table that I was feeding Elsa. A few minutes later, I found Sophie sitting in the chair using a spoon to eat the soup all by herself!!! She is so not into using utensils. She was actually able to scoop up some soup** and make it into her mouth without spilling it everywhere!!! All this without being prompted. I am so proud of her.

**The soup was pretty thick because I added a lot of rice to help with Elsa's stomach issue. She has a stomach virus so I have been incorporating the BRAT diet.

Good going Sophie!! I only hope Elsa didn't share her tummy problems while sharing her soup!!

Love you,

Alright Sophie! She is becoming quite the young lady. Maybe pudding, tapioca and rice pudding served as yummies would encourage her to continue to practice that oh so challenging balancing act performed with a spoon. Jello is way to fun to squish between your fingers to use a spoon. Rice pudding and 'Nilla Wafers. Now that's yummy. Go for it Sophie!

Thats fantastic! Shes a BIG girl, isnt it the cutest watching them trying to figure it out. For the longest time Cami would flip her spoon/fork over right before she got it to her mouth dumping it everywhere. Poor gal got so frusterated she finally figured it out ;)
So proud of you Sophie!!!
